I'll start:

Even in the German Middle Ages, under the same power of Dionysus, constantly growing hordes thronged from place to place, singing and dancing; in these St. John’s and St. Vitus’s dances we recognize the Bacchic chorus of the Greeks once again, with its precursors in Asia Minor, right back to Babylon and the orgiastic Sacaea. There are people who, from a lack of experience or out of apathy, turn mockingly or pityingly away from such phenomena as from a “sickness of the people,” with a sense of their own health. These poor people naturally do not have any sense of how deathly and ghost-like this very “health” of theirs sounds, when the glowing life of the Dionysian throng roars past them.

In popular culture people quote little snippets of Nietzsche often without anything resembling understanding of meaning or context of said quotes but one of the reasons for this phenomenon is that Nietzsche does write wonderfully. On that note I would like to ask what are some of your favorite aphorisms/excerpts/paragraphs from Nietzsche?

Nietzsche saw nihilism not only as a destruction but also as an opportunity, because with nihilism "God is dead" and the traditional morality of all Western metaphysics has collapsed. At this point, it comes to mind that Nietzsche might be a nihilist. However, in our opinion, Nietzsche reached active nihilism by rejecting the values created so far, by rejecting the Western metaphysical understanding and Christian morality, and overcame nihilism by creating new values. Sebahattin Çevikbaş reinforces our conclusion by stating that Nietzsche does not ignore a value-based explanation. According to him, Nietzsche thinks that the meanings that have been valid and adhered to so far have lost their functions and that new values should replace them.

Since Nietzsche does not want nothingness to be accepted as the last thing, he also emerges as a positive person who overcomes nihilism: He regards the whole of his later philosophy as a counter-movement to nihilism: In his 'great politics', in his 'interpretation of the world' and in his doctrine of 'eternal recurrence'.

Were Julius Evola alive today, he would have loved Bladee. That's because Bladee perfectly embodies the Roman Nord pan-European Aryan spirit of antiquity, and projects its energy unto the masses of Drainers, hoping to unite, awaken and transcend them past their fragile and human goals.

Therefore, according to Deleuzeʼs treatment of Nietzscheʼs ideas, Nietzsche engages in active nihilism. A similar evaluation can be found in Süleyman A. Örnekʼs "The Problem of Living in Nietzsche".

According to Örnek, Nietzsche does not arrive at a meaninglessness by looking at emptiness, worthlessness, nothingness. On the contrary, Nietzsche, who does not believe in nothingness, believes in new values and new meanings. He believes in the "Superhuman" who will create these new values.

In his book "Nietzsche and Philosophy", Deleuze points to the double meaning of nihilism and argues that Nietzsche can be seen as an active nihilist. In his work, Deleuze states that the term "nihil" in nihilism expresses a negation as a quality of the will to power. Accordingly, nihilism in the first sense is the value of nothingness that life takes on. Attributing this value of nothingness to life occurs through the fiction of superior values. In the second sense, nihilism is not a will, but a reaction. "One reacts against the supersensible world and superior values, denying their existence and canceling all validity." It is no longer the devaluation of life, but the devaluation of "superior values". In this framework, devaluation means the nothingness of superior values.36 By rejecting these "superior values" expressed as "God", "universal", "idea", "truth", etc., Nietzsche tries to save the true value of life.
