So I have this game from early access, and at the beginning I would like to point out that the developers are working a lot on it, updates are very frequent, which I think all players can notice, it has changed a lot since the year I bought it, at the beginning there were only two locations and additionally not done just like now, so you can see a lot of progress and that the studio is constantly working on and developing it.
I haven't played multiplayer, so I don't know how the updates affected this game mode.

Let's start with the game settings, a very positive thing is that you can set everything from the opponents' HP, the length of the day, the number of items dropped, the equipment, the length of the day, I can't find anything that can't be set here, except for the world, which is the same in every game, which doesn't bother because it is extensive and offers a lot. Character creation is also at a good level, the choice is quite large. In general, the interface is nice and clear, even at the very beginning when I started playing the game I easily and quickly figured out where to do what and how, so this is another plus if you want to buy V Rising.

As for the gameplay itself, it is simple, you build your castle, explore the world, explore new things, become stronger, defeat bosses which also unlock new things for you. If you get bored with the fighting, you can build a castle. Personally, I liked building the castle more than the fighting itself.

Fighting enemies shouldn't cause any problems either, a given enemy has the same moves and they don't change, only in the case of bosses, the less HP they have, the stronger they are and possibly if they introduce such a change in the update, for example now in 1.0, while playing I noticed that every boss has been changed and it made fighting them more interesting. Of course, it's all simple, but it's not easy, you have to choose the right weapons and powers from the spellbook for each opponent, because it's almost impossible to use the same tactics against every boss.

But let's move on to the disadvantages of the game, because there always have to be some, right?
It's hard for me to think of anything, because if you like this type of games, you will easily enjoy it because most of the disadvantages can be easily solved in the game settings, for example, if you don't want to collect resources, you can simply set the drop to 3 times higher, lower construction costs, etc. The first disadvantage is that once you create the world, you cannot change its settings and you have to create it completely from scratch if you make a mistake with one setting.

To sum up, V Rising is a well-built and constantly developed game, so even if you don't like its current state, don't worry, it will probably be expanded even more or improved over time. I recommend this interesting game.
