As a big fan of the total war series I have to ask people to reconsider buying this game simply because it is unplayable with a moder day computer. It's not steams fault, but the game was designed to run on one processor and performs poorly on any decent pc I've tried so far.
As you progress in the game the cursor will start jumping uncontrollably and in most of the larger battles you will eventually think twice about changing the speed setting, because you may be unable to change it back.

TL;DR Good game that performs poorly
