Roadwarden is a text-based, fantasy RPG that feels like it's being narrated by an old-school dungeon master. The writing is honestly as detailed and captivating as Disco Elysium. Similar dice throws occur but, unfortunately, you're unable to see the outcomes or what bonuses you have. You'll appreciate the depth of character interactions and choices that meaningfully impact the story. The pixel art is revealed in such a manner that doesn't just complement the game. Certain interactions make you look for items in the scenery to type in, describe, and explore -- truly a unique blend of genres.
nb. Looking at the Steam achievements, you'll notice a sharp cut off from the first to the second, the latter having only 25% of those who have played achieving it. If you're not ready to read a great deal of text and actually pay attention to details, this game isn't for you.

Agree, I was shocked that so few players have what I'd consider pretty basic achievements in game and story. The game rewards attention to detail and note taking, which the ADHD kiddies with no attention span or the FPS bros raised by YouTube might not have in their toolkits.
