Dragon Age: The Veilguard is very different from the previous games and feels like its taken a lot of inspiration from Mass Effect 2. This isn't a bad thing and what it shares with that game is the same intense focus on combat and conversations. It might not be for everyone (especially if you're looking for an old-school RPG like Dragon Age: Origins was) but if you go in appreciating it for what it is then it's a very good time.
