Not as bad as people made it out to be. Runs smooth, on foot missions are a fun change of pace. Got it 65% off but I would have paid more if I had known I would like it this much.

Super good, fun to use. Just like tabletop the guns are less accurate with more shots. You have enough units to build different army types, maybe 3 deff dreads to max out their bonus when standing near another deff dread, big meks to repair and other vehicles to make a mek army, or you could go pure bad moons and get a bunch of flash gitz and boyz with big shootas and lootas and just have a frontline of grotz holding everything at optimum shoota range. It's just unfortunate you only have one clan so the bonus focuses on ranged combat (as Bad Moons should).

You can play them in all the randomized gamemodes, skirmish, planetary supremacy and demonic incursion. I used the default armies in skirmish to figure out how the units work in battle. Then I jumped into planetary supremacy which basically requires you to work with what you have and use non-upgraded low tier units, which also helps me learn how they play/synergize and now I feel like I have a good handle on how they work. Lots of possibility for different builds.

Looks great but it makes me extremely motion sick, I couldn't handle 30min. I tried changing the settings, FOV, head-bob, screenshake, retro pixel filter, etc. . nothing helped. It hit me worse than VR Chat with an Oculus Rift.

has timed side quests that don't tell you are timed and no saves to go back on so you need to start the entire game over if you want to 100%

servers don't work when there are more than 50,000 players. 5 or 6 different error codes rotate through, none of them I can do anything about. dedicated servers are trash. enemies walking through walls, floating through the air, etc. . . just garbage.


EDIT: Got myself a VPN for Xmas, playing with that I have literally 0 error messages, solid connectivity no matter who I play with. If there is lag now it is on my friends connection to the server but not on mine. My connection wasn't even this good in the beta when it was 90% good. It's like buying an entire other game just to get this game to work, ridiculous to say the least.

Has major issues on Windows 11 on some configurations. Freezing for like 5 sec straight and then only unfreezing for like 3 sec before freezing again for 5 sec at the start of the very first level where the player very first starts to control Sonic. If I push through it only happens in the one area of the level but is known to happen in many different Cyberspace areas...

If you have the ability to put Windows 10 on the same PC with this issue and boot the game in Windows 10 the freezing does not happen (according to others).

Checking the system requirements and I notice ONLY Win 10 is listed in both the minimum and recommended. So I guess they are launching an outdated game on day one since it doesn't even work on the current modern Operating System. . . Buyer beware!

EDIT: I have found a 'fix'. The worst kind of fix. Sometimes, seemingly at random when I launch the game, the five second freezing will instead last less than a second like a stutter. When that happens every single instance where this happens will be a stutter instead of a freeze UNTIL the next time I boot the game. Then I have to go to one of these spots and check if it is freezing or stuttering. If it is freezing, restart the game. If it is stuttering, for the love of god don't close the game if you can help it because it will continue to just stutter until the game actually closes. I can load other levels, load the title screen, load different saves, for that entire time the game is running the freezing will instead be a stutter, even if I run it for 6 hours straight. So basically I have to restart the game until the bug is tolerable and then I can play. Usually takes less than 5 restarts. . . (Pretty awful I know). At least I can play I guess

Please skip 'Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed' and 'Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon' and make a brand new entry in the series next
