A fun mobile game shmup to spend your time on and nice iteration following Crossy Road

I've played Crossy Road and this one doesn't stray far from it, in terms of atmosphere and aesthetics.

Different intensities also get a plus because now try-hards can just pick "screamy" instead of casul "skirmish" mode. Bosses and mobs can get pretty unfair at "screamy" but that's to be expected. Also a good addition is being able to turn off explosion because it's pretty annoying to play with in higher intensities.

Microtransactions are pretty chill and similar to the previous game so it doesn't really bother me. Pretty mild progression; you get coins and golden tickets from playing (or paying for the latter), trade them for cute chars, and continue playing. You don't get a boost in skill by paying though, you just get contents faster.

There were some bugs and "features" that I encountered and want to comment on, such as:
  • The character not being there when a round starts
  • Leaderboards not showing all players
  • Leaderboards not separating players scores based on different intensities
  • Players can't quit during a round and need to either die or force quit
  • Some characters' background being too bright (esp. rainbow, can't see ♥♥♥♥ with that one)
  • Daily mission window staying when you continue
Other than those, gj. Will wait for more from Mighty Games.

First of all, sorry for being excessively rough on a free cute indie game but I have no patience for this game.

Places need improving:
(It'll be a no from me until these are fixed)
  • Character dialogues repeated for no reason (Seen dialogues should just appear, not repeated and I can't even fast forward the dialogue half the time. It frustrates me.)
  • Translation is pretty ♥♥♥♥.
  • No clearly defined or interesting goals (Like, I'm a "certified" audio mixer now, I know that the bitrate of an uncompressed, CD-quality audio is 1411kbps. What the ♥♥♥♥ do you give me?)

My experience rant:
Oh, you're not compatible with this bubble? That's okay, that's life, plenty other bubbles in the sea. But, it appears that you need to take tests to see your compatibility, girl. You should be able to just go to that specific bubble after you're done with one- Hm? You need to take all tests before you can pick which bubble to go for, I see... And you can't retake the test (Outside save load function but who does that)? Well, the test shouldn't be that har-

3 days to prepare for the final examination, time to exercise. Exercise my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ random facts that don't have anything to give to character or story development and go to inaccurately translated locations in the girl's PC to find unrelated lost items to give to characters I DON'T CARE ABOUT. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ grandpa even forgets about the girl the day after. "A machine ponders its loneliness."

Free, short, linear, atmospheric game with its simplistic audio puzzles.
However, with little to no story, its ending can be unfulfilling to most folks that expected some kind of a closure.
An experience that doesn't hurt to have but leaves players asking, "Why did I do that?"
And, pressing random keys to further "cutscene" don't help enrich its gameplay.
Average indie game at best.

Free, linear, short novel paired with a good atmospheric bgm and minimalistic visual.
Narrators and a branching story-line would've been better but that's imo.
The story is not for everyone and it's understandable if there are ppl who have different opinions on the ending since it's either jumping the shark or too abstract.
But, personally I like it and it's a good experience.

Free game, good concept, buggy, poor execution.
No creativity put into each level design (aka the puzzle).

It was nice knowing that games will be treated differently in the next couple of years from now.
That's probably the best thing a gamer could've ever hope.
Free to Play is a great documentary. It even has achievements.(w)
Every gamer has his/her own life that probably almost all people wouldn't know of, or even care.
But, I was hoping for it not to be just about Dota, but other free to play games as well.
And the reactions of those who took part in creating Dota.
It will make the title "Free to Play" more meaningful.
All and all, all I can say that it is a great documentary. I wish every parents could see this.
