This is just my first impressions. I'll update my review once I finish the game.

I'm totally satisfied with the spooky atmosphere and background music. The setting is perfectly creepy but not so scary that you're turned off of exploring. I'm taking my time and exploring everything as there is a wealth of beautifully rendered rooms to explore. I've enjoyed every second of the short time I've spent in the game so far and look forward to advancing more and experiencing the story as it unfolds.

Thoughts now that I've finished the game:
I was completely absorbed in the creepy atmosphere the entire time I played. The characters had a lot to say, and I loved exploring the crumbling old building. There were several unsettling moments, but honestly that just added to the fun, and I was totally unprepared for the ending. It blew me away in the best way possible. I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing, and recommend Asylum for all point-and-click horror fans.

I didn't know what to expect when I started playing, but I was quickly absorbed in the story and the setting. I loved the atmosphere and how easy the controls were. The story was very well done. I was entertained enough by it that I wasn't constantly trying to think 2 steps ahead and predict what would happen next or what the ending would be. I especially loved the twist at the end. Some of the puzzles definitely confused me, especially the ones that involved piano keys. I've never played piano and had to look up a piano layout to be able to solve it. Having said that, I would still absolutely recommend this game to all adventure game lovers.

A very enjoyable and relaxing color-by-numbers game. I love the animation that plays when completing a picture. The pictures range from simple to very advanced, from adorable to amazing, you name it. This is my new favorite way to relax after a stressful day. When I picked this up, the base game was free and comes with several books of pictures to color. If you like it, you can purchase additional books very cheap. Overall, very satisfying game.

The game has beautiful scenes and the hidden objects aren't too difficult to find, but you can only play for a few minutes at a time before your "energy" runs out and you either have to buy more or wait for it to recharge. What could be a fun HO game is hidden behind a paywall. It would also be nice if there was some text or something to explain what the symbols in the menu are. A couple of them are covered by the beginning tutorial, but don't receive an adequate explanation at all. Overall, I'd recommend getting this on mobile if you can and only playing it when you're in a waiting room and need something quick to do.
