This negative review is directed towards the region lock for countries that PSN does not support. To lock out countries because an optional multiplayer mode is only available through PSN when PSN is not mandatory or required to play the single-player game is a business decision I cannot support. Until the region lock is reversed, this review will remain negative despite how good the game is.

I'm not happy with the current game balance or the lack of QoL mechanics that would make sense.

4-5 boosters are practically a must pick. The rest are either too niche to be useful in a large majority of situations or outright useless.

Armor passives, same problem. Weapons, light penn weapons don’t have an area they thrive in (low penetration, high weak point damage) and the current state of the game practically reinforces the medium penn explosive primaries.

Hidden enemy seeds (what units are likely and unlikely to spawn)

Planets in the galactic war do NOT matter: any effects they bring are only temporary, no incentive to coordinate attacks. Any defensive planets immediately get the attention of players instead of certain planets that need to be attacked

For some reason they prioritize content updates over performance/balance updates (at least that what it feels like).

This is a great game for first time players, but if you're not REALLY REALLY into this game, it will only be left in your library as a memory.
