I've played this game for a bit on SEA servers back in January, and reinstalled it via official launcher earlier this week. Had to install through steam to write a review.

This game is a strange amalgamation that I initially played thinking it was just another dumpster fire in the ever growing cash-grab pile of mobile games that would be hilarious to make fun of.
However, it subverted my expectations. Under its rough veneer, it has a lot of systems people have been desiring in games for years now--Underwater combat that I haven't seen since PWI, Flight combat that I haven't seen since Aion, an incredibly in depth pet system where you can capture almost any mob in the open world to either use as a pet, or devour it in a pokemon-esque battle to rip a limb from it and ramshackle it on to your current favorite pet. You want a dinosaur with butterfly wings that can barely fly? done. A horse with a bug's head, snake tail, and buffalo body? done. Your own twisted imagination is the limit here, chief.

It has completely open world housing, which *can* be an upside or a downside depending on your opinion. On the one hand, you can make some truly amazing structures with incredible views. On the other hand, you have to see xXxDarkEdgeLordxXx's giant multi-colored cube that any rational human would stop hating HOA's for a moment to get rid of.

There's in depth gathering, crafting, tons of weapons to play with for combat (which is a bit clunky, albeit it feels better to not play on 400 ping finally), and when you hatch your pets you need to physically sit on the eggs. The character creator is more in depth than ESO, PSO2, Tera, Aion, Archeage, Elyon, XIV, heck the only MMO I can think of that is better at allowing freedom in creation is BDO.

The bad:
You can't really change keybinds. I'm a QWES gamer, and I can't actually change binds in the menu because Q & E are always marked as keys "in use" even if you take them off everything else they're bound to. This really needs to be addressed
The menus are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess holy heck, hopefully they can improve the UI and functionality.
The english translation is really lacking
graphically, this game is not stunning. If Black Desert is a 10 graphically, I'd give this like 3/10. the pop-in is very noticeable
I see other reviews mentioning the anticheat, but as someone who has dealt with multiple Xingcode games I will give this a Ididntevennoticeithadananticheat/10

TL;DR
Play this game, holy heck. It's the Snakes on a Plane of video games. You will have FUN playing this game, and most companies seem to have forgotten that is why any of us play video games in the first place.
