As someone who never played the original Age of Mytholgy, and has many hours in Age of Empires II and IV, this game is my favourite out of the Age RTS genre. Has the classic material gathering, unit control and balancing you find in AOE II and IV.

This mastered version goes above and beyond in the Genre, and even over the original game with many extra cultures, gods, god powers and units. The graphics of this game are the best in the genre, with amazing water quality, map design, lighting design, unit and building design.

The base game campaign with 40 missions was a blast to play and the story was amazing to play along with. Would recommened this game to anyone who loves the Age RTS genre or RTS games in genreal.

Been Playing Cities Skylines 2 since launch. It was a rough beginning for the game. But as of 2026 and the new developer team behind the Game (IceFlake Studios) the Game is in a much better state now with many more quality of life features, many bug fixes and regular game updates to improve the overall gameplay.
