My dear Queen,

As the relentless storms lash against our Hearth and noxious mists shroud our surroundings, I find refuge in the sturdiness of this Beaver house. Here, tales of tribulation and triumph meet quill and scroll amidst the window-creaking tempest.

Through the crucible of my earliest endeavors, I grappled with the specter of scarcity, as food shortages cast a pall over my every move. Many months passed, but the burden of memory weighed heavy upon me, driving me to obsessive lengths in its pursuit.

"Abundance of food is nothing but rightful precaution", I insisted to myself. Yet, I neglected a myriad other facets of being a viceroy.

Then came the fateful moment, a turning point that pierced the heart of my Resolve. With prospects bleak and hope waning, I faced a stark embarkation devoid of sustenance. No fertile soil to till, no bounty to reap—only the grim specter of known deprivation, looming large and dark as the deep forest.

With each setback, my faith faltered, my playstyle shattered like clay pottery cooked with the wrong oils. Yet, haunted by the voices of long-gone fishmen spectres, a new path was being forged in my mind, one born of necessity and tempered by adversity.

Connected slowly, shone the pieces of the puzzle created by my own unreflected decisions. Even stuck with a number of less-than-optimal blueprints I brought, my settlement boomed to be a bastion of trade and commerce. Though the fields lay fallow and the orchards barren, the fruits of my labor manifested in other forms—piles of trade goods, opulent luxuries, and sturdy construction materials. Caravans were offered big sums in exchange for the much valuable, otherwise absent, food.

In the annals of my journey, I emerged victorious, a testament to the indomitable spirit that courses through the veins of our people. For in the crucible of hardship, I learned a valuable lesson—that necessity is the mother of innovation, and vicissitude the forge in which resilience is galvanized.

Kept warm by the sanctuary of our Hearth, tested by the relentless fury of the elements, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the masterminds behind this endeavor. Their genius and insight have crafted a world both captivating and profound, where every challenge is an opportunity and every setback a catalyst for growth. To them, and to the artisans whose talents breathe life into its every facet, I offer my admiration.

With reverence,
Kanatur.
