I tried several sudokus on PC. Every single one of them was disappointing. They missed important features like annotation system, didn't have a level generator or reset before first mistake happened. If they had these things they were cheaply ported from phones and their number placing system with a mouse and keyboard was cumbersome. Sudoku Zenkai isn't like that. Sudoku Zenkai is great! It is featuring everything that I need from sudoku on PC and has proper number placing system with mouse + keyboard. And several things on top. You can pick from many color schemes. You can turn off/on several helpers like number highlighting. There is even multiplayer mode. Plus devs are active and still rolling new updates.

Pros:
- Proper controls with mouse + keyboard
- Good level generator
- Multiplayer mode
- A lot of color themes to choose from
- Active devs

Cons:
- Sudoku games with overall nicer graphics exist
- Main music theme doesn't sound very "zen" to me. It sounds like sonar sounds and feeling which I got from it is something like "prepare for incoming torpedos". Music can be easily disabled though.

Price: 2$/2€
Steal. You don't need to wait to discount sales. I would pay even slightly more like 3$/3€.

Extra notes:
You can try the free version on phone first.

Final verdict:
Yes, I recommending Sudoku Zenkai.

I like the concept here, but execution is utterly terrible. The controls and maneuverability which are most important things in this type of game are extremely bad. I can see that devs wanted to make nice and ambitious game but they just didnt have skills to do that. Im little sad to not recommending this game because of it. I want support them so they would persist and next time they would deliver maybe better game... So I will do it just here in my comment - keep it up guys! :)

I had troubles with resolutions in windowed mode. It didnt work for me very well. Game window retained its size about one quarter of Full HD and I was unable to resize it. Even if actual rendered resolution was higher like 1600x900 or full hd. Everything was then very small gui included. In fullscreen there was no problem.

But I just cant recommend this game to anyone. Overall quality is just too low to ask money for it.

Absolutely not recommended. Stay away even if it would be for free!

22 minutes and I finished the whole game. Plus I used "protect" shields very rarely. If you will use them then you can beat the game under 10-12m.

+ That time include one game freeze (after few seconds crash too) and several game minimizing when I got their ingame "gifts". This game then will (several times!) open your browser on steam store page for their another game!

Sometimes there was slight mouselag when game didnt notice of my desperate mouse clicking.

Collisions feel somehow little bit off. But I personally think that there could be problem with messed up resolutions and aspect ratios and incorect object stretching. On windowed 1600x900 it feels that collision and sprite shapes are very slightly off. Or its just my personal feeling? Maybe, possibly. But then its not technical problem but its problematic gamedesign... That is still issue.

Some items move randomly. Common - if this is game about precision and timing unpredictability is in this case pretty poor design decision.

Simple and cheap mobile game. Poorly ported. Im not enemy of mobile ports. I recently liked Slice Up. But Space Hero Line is bad. Very bad. Let me give you one friendly FREE gift. It will be even without browser pop up! ... --- ... 0%.

Very nice little indie. Simple pretty graphic, fair price. More deeper playing mechanics like coloring of the shapes or gravity etc. are present. Its quite challenging too. From levels 25+ the game will test your logic skills pretty good... Or Im just slow. :)

I dont personally like (someone can) levels when your timing matter more than logic (lever type of levels or with destructive triangles waiting to get to their position).

Gameplay time:
2.5h and I beat 75/100 levels.
Edit:
3.7h 87/100.
Edit2:
4.4h 97/100. Rest of the levels are pretty tought to crack. I would guess that skilled player would need around 4-5h to beat whole game.
5.0h 100/100.

Thats very ok for the price. Yes, I would definitely recommend the game.

Bug (?):
Sometimes it happen that moving coloring bar just floats from the played level. It flows outside the level borders. After level reset its ok.

Annoying thingy:
Quit button in menu is at the same position as Menu button in play screen = right top corner. My reflex tell me double click on icons so when I want to change the level and go to the menu with doubleclick I often ended with closed game. Change position of the buttons slightly or add confirmation window with exit.

Very nice surprise. Interesting story with a lot of choices (although thats only illusion). You can play through under 1h but for better understanding of the story you would need to play it several times... Thats problem. Im not sure if most people will be interested to do that. Just music is pure cancer but you can turn it off and listen yours music in background.

Gameplay lenght:
First play around 1-1.5h

Full story:
About 3h.

All achievements:
4-5h.
(My gameplay is inflated by 4,5h when I just farmed cards first and played game after that)

3€ is acceptable price. Plus its very often in discounted deals (when I writing this review its accidentaly -86% off thats just 0.41€. Thats the steal.)

I dont understand such high ratings of this. Story its extremely poor... like from average student of elementary school. Almost no choices for player. And few choices which are present are mostly marginal. Images are nice but there is probably less than 20 background images. There are literally only three visible characters. No, animations whatsoever. Only good part is voiceover. In 2,4h I finished the game. This is bad.

Bonus: When I started googling around just to check if this "quality" is normal in "visual novel" genre I found out two things. 1) Its not normal. So I will try different visual novel game. 2) Winged Cloud company is seriously shady: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlh8e201lI0

My first game of this type (hidden object). I like graphics (and animation with it) but story is pretty poor. Main story campaing took me aprox 3 hours (on middle difficulty) and bonus campaing took aprox one hour. I guess thats acceptible for this type of game. If the game was longer I would probably got bored before I could finish it. I got it for few cents from bundle so I will rate positively. But I wouldnt personally pay more than 2$ for it. Although Im not a fan of this genre.

Dont buy it. Its just very low effort "game".

No menu, no start, no end. You have to alt+f4 to just end the game. There is no point to play - no counter, no goals, no achievements - just endlessly pick correct country name from four possibilies for currently showed flag nothing more.

I played only few minutes (0,2h; rest will be steamcard farming) and I found several mistakes already.

Netherlands flag for Yugoslavia
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1334835068

Indonesia (or Monaco´s) flag for Poland
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1334835619

- You cant tell if its Monaco or Indonesia because ingame they are identical with same dimensions.

- Some country names have weird name format like "Turkmen- istan" instead Turkmenistan. Several countries have this - problem.

- Republic of the Congo and Democratic Republic of the Congo are named just Congo.

- No, music. Only annoing "phone" sound effect which cannot be turned down.

+ has steamcards.

I wouldnt recommend this "game" (its not a game at all) even if it was free. Literally one of worst purchaseable items on Steam. Stay away. Do you love flags? I do! But do yourself a favor and pick some random free flag game from Android or Apple store. I guarantee that will be better than this. You can find even webgames with flags which are much better. Dont support trash on Steam.
