this is a fantastic game. what i first thought was just a quirky and creative platformer with a lot of gimmicks turned out to be an incredibly deep and rewarding game to master. it's a game where you can get the highest rank on every level and beat every boss flawlessly, and still keep coming back for more because it's just that fun and satisfying. you can feel the love and attention poured into every animation, every inch of every level and every banger on the epic soundtrack... one of the best 2d platformers ever made!

A very unique exploration game. It was originally a 3DS title, so while the environments aren't super detailed and the gameplay is minimal, each level is very rich with atmosphere because of the banging soundtrack and eerie locations. It really feels like the game contains an entire world, with dozens of nested areas connected by a huge overworld, once populated but now barren, and you're left to explore the streets and corridors and wonder what these places once were. If you enjoy the spooky empty feeling that some N64 games have I would strongly recommend this. Can't wait for the OST release!
