Really enjoying this so far. The writing feels like an extended anime series, which is more cohesive and a lot less disjointed compared to Cybersleuth.

There's a lot of quality-of-life features that I'm sure fans of the more strict, grind-heavy JRPG fans will dislike but I'm a big fan of with how little time I have for gaming these days. For example, all Digimon gain EXP after fights, including those in the Box.

I don't think it does a great job of explaining all the gameplay mechanics though, maybe I skimmed the tutorial screens but I've had to Google a number of things to understand properly. Although if you've played Cybersleuth you can work out 90% of them easy enough.

I am primarily playing on a Steam Deck and while it does look good and generally sits around 60FPS, it can get bogged down in more populated areas, reaching as low as 18FPS at recommended Deck settings.
