Since when I started playing the game back in 2018, the game has changed by a mile, probably for the worse.
Every year, Ubisoft removes mechanics that have been in the game since launch. For one, they completely overhauled the parry times in the CCU (Core Combat Update), which made the game overall less fun than it used to be.
Every new hero used to be unique in their own way, but then Ubisoft started to re-use animations and once even entire voicelines (Medjay).
The game is VERY skill-based and, most of the time, the buttons do not even react.
And then there's the match-making itself. Most of the time, I get to fight absolute sweatlords who don't even let me enjoy the game.
However, even after all that I have said, the game can still be enjoyable.
