I have mid-range specs, all things considered, the jankiness of the Operators was my first impression and the most apparent issue, never mind the form of a lot of the maps v. previous games.
Even so, I'm willing to give this game a fair fighting chance with more hours, but a lot of what I read from other reviews and watched from videos, is still very much here, outside of some more recent QoL patches/updates.
Overall? Still has promise, I'd argue, but is it for me (as a Bad Company - BF4 vet.) ? No. Not in it's current state.

Update 6 Hours:
Talked with a lot of people in game, people seem to argue that the reviews here are bloated and spam, but if you actually take the time to take these criticisms and apply them to your gameplay much of the issues at hand are still prevalent, and very much a nuisance if not downright annoying.
Mainly, I've encountered chat bugs, callout bugs, and equipment bugs in my extended play during the time allotted.
I can say the gameplay in of itself is fun, but at least for me it was rather barebones, all things considered when you compare it to it's predecesor.

IF considering this title, like BFV, buy on half off or at the very least on sale at a point where much of the core issues are sought and fixed.

9 Hours:
Most of the longtime fans and returning all are pretty bummed about the removal of Squad VC, Squad Leader based perks (basically everything squad related present in BF4). I even heard one fella compare this as a somehow worse Battlefield: Hardline, if you can believe it.
But that's mainly nostalgia based complaints and disgruntled users in regards to the lack of features and overall content in regards to the core of the game.
I can't disagree.
Gunplay is alright but could use some fine tuning here in there in regards to player models, overall it is a game, and it does have Battlefield in the title.
But let's be real, this is Apex Legends if it had a scandalous affair with Warzone, whilst cheating on Rainbow Six: Seige. Unfortunately, I can't see this reaching the heights those games sit at currently, and yes not even Apex.

In all seriousness, this game needs an overall touch-up, if not a full rework. This goes beyond QoL, at this point.
Suggested, bring back old features present in the direction of 2042, it really isn't hard to perfect your formula when you've got at least 5 decent titles to reference.
I can tell you, though I will research it and update if I'm wrong, this is no longer the DICE we knew and loved that put out Easter eggs, community events, and polished the living hell out of 3 and 4. I'm not sure where corporate started and greed began, but I've seen this commonly with a lot of Triple A studios lately this year.
The focus seems to be more on rushing out an unfinished product to tap into a market while it's hot, and your competitors simmer.
These feels half-baked, even now, X amount of months later from launch.

Please, if you do actually care about this title and aren't just going to let it die the way you let Hardline (let's be real), then at the very least don't do us BFV.
Stress test, patch, and work out the kinks. This game isn't all bad, it just needs that grease to make it shine the way we remember these games, and without a shadow of a doubt I know it can.
Peace and love.
