I actually have a lot of respect for Hoot. I’m old and I used to order her Persona book every year via the mail. One time I forgot to order and ended up calling the number she had listed in previous books. So I dial the number and I’m talking and giving my credit card information for my order when I realize I’m talking to Hoot. I said, “Is this Hoot?” and she said, “Yes!” And thanked me for placing my order. Really ahead of her time and truly a self made woman. I have mad respect for Hoot.

Hoot is a disgrace to Valorant. I saw her at McDonald's once and she took the food off my plate, took a huge bite of everything, called me a plat rat, and kicked me in the shin.

I have been gaming with Hoot for about 7 months. Two weeks ago she sat me down and presented a powerpoint presentation with her business idea. I knew she'd been working on an idea, but she didn't want to tell me about it until it was finished. Based on her enthusiasm and her prior seemingly intelligent nature, I thought maybe it'd be a pretty cool idea.

Instead she presented to me an idea about "soup tubes". The idea, if you can call it that, is to construct a series of tubes throughout our city that leads to centralized soup kitchens. For a monthly subscription, a customer can "subscribe to a tube of soup", and a tube extension would be built off the nearest mainline tube and directly into the customer apartment or home. Based on subscription level, that would determine the quantity of soup a customer could pour and how many types of soup. The "tubes" are basically the size of pipes, like you might see under a sink, but he insisted that "it MUST be called soup tube, not soup pipe, tube just zings better."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. At first I asked if she was crank yanking me or something, but she was completely sincere. Obviously, the idea is completely insane. The notion that the city would authorize somebody to construct a series of tubes everywhere that carry soup into homes is of course ludicrous. And even if such an initiative were approved, the costs for such an operation would be ridiculous. You would have to charge outrageous prices for customers to install and "subscribe" to a soup tube, and who would pay for such a service when canned soup costs like a dollar or two? Or you can buy soup from a restaurant for a few dollars? I explained these things as politely as I could but she dismissed them and all said that "tube based soup delivery is the wave of the future."

She then asked me how much I wanted to invest, and I told her nothing, and she looked absolutely heartbroken. Since then, almost every day she has asked again for me to invest, and keeps trying to sell me on the idea. She is also doing the same thing to a lot of her friends.

It is starting to drive me up the wall. Hoot caught me in the middle of the night pulling rope to a tiefling NPC. We fought for a day, but mostly she was just depressed and couldn't imagine me having an attraction to a red woman with horns.

She was able to put it mostly behind her, but she called up all her friends and relatives and was on the phone seeking advice on what to do about the situation. I tried to explain to her that it was just a kind of fantasy and that I found her more attractive than any video game character, but the next time we made love she noticed that my eyes were closed most of the time, and she accused me of imagining the tiefling. And in truth, I was. I was imagining gripping the tiefling by her horns and pounding away.

Tonight, I was in camp and initiated a love scene with Lae'zel, the Githyanki green woman. The game was pumping through my speakers and Hoot could hear the narrator describing the love making. Hoot came storming into the room faster than I could react. I tried to alt tab but i kept hitting the wrong keys on accident and wasnt fast enough.

Hoot saw the green face and the pointy ears and the pointy teeth, and now she thinks I'm possessed by Satan and sexually attracted to mystical creatures and devil women with horns and pointy teeth. She locked herself in our bedroom, and I could hear her crying and moving things all around. Hours later she opened the door and stormed out of the house with two suitcases and told me she's filing for a divorce. She won't answer my calls.

I really wish I never played this game.
