Report a translation problem
The day after your review, we pushed an update which made Player 1 always start on the bottom regardless of which side was black, and also added the ability to press "F" to flip the board side in either 2D or 3D.

A couple of days later, we pushed a fix to the en-passant edge-case. That was an interesting one! Full info on that bug is in the update:
