Was a good game years ago, but the updates ruined it and now its dying

EDIT: I'll go into depth on why I dislike the 2.0 update since there's actually people reading this:

Graphics (Main Factor): The new graphics update was not necessary at all. People were into this game due to the "OG" and simplistic graphics. The new one made this game look like just another indifferent modern game. Besides looking less appealing to newer players, older ones also lost the familiarity for this game and many quit because of this.

Servers: No Asia servers, same case with many other different locations making a large chunk of the playerbase needing to play at 300 ping. Leads to bad hit registration and making the gameplay unenjoyable (I know this was already a problem years ago, but when the initial surge of players died down this made the remaining playerbase unsustainable. There were a lot of asian players consisting the old "loyal" playerbase (I believe there were 30+ or so.))

There are other reasons such as unnecessary mechanics with drones and stuff, but I believe the above two were the main reasons why many quit and did not come back.

After all, what people wanted was perhaps a simple, clean 2D stickman shooter game. Sad to see one of my fav games go out in such a way.
