Unfortunately, even this JQ game has to be negatively reviewed.
By the way, JQ means "Just Questions"..
Anyways, it follows the same pattern as the other games with the same title published by Snkl Studio: this time, the quiz can be split in two parts. You can choose to play with country capitals, or guess sights - i.e.: poorly-drawn famous or not-so-famous landscapes, city buildings, natural places and so on belonging to one country.
This game unfortunately as I said has the same horrendous feature of the other JQ games - all the questions are always the same, in the same order. You're literally going to play the same game over and over again if you want to reach the later questions.
Each game will consist of a flag or a picture, and you'll have four possible answers. You'll see the flag of a country and four answers, and you'll have to click on the correct one. Three lives per game and no difficulty setting - which means that the cycle will be always the same.
More than this, the "Sights" part actually sucks - the images are all in a sort of black and white (more a "blue and white" colorization actually) style that seems that simply someone took famous photos from Google, put some social network filters on them and left them in the game.
It's sometimes hard to recognize famous buildings.. anyways, in this mode you'll see something like the Big Ben, Athens' Parthenon, Paris' Tour Eiffel and you'll have (as the game title says) to click on the correct country out of the four.
Well, that's all the game has to offer.
The drawings are bad, and the capital trivia is really something you can find basically everywhere.. a flag with four possible answers, nothing else. The sights mode is negatively affected by the drawing quality, but even here it's not that hard to find trivias on Google Play asking you to put some building in the right country.
Most of all, apart from the boring and standard ambient piano soundtrack, the fact that the questions are always the same is something that bothers even someone like me who loves history and geography.
The game gives you three lives and if you don't know something and don't want to look for a guide, you're basically screwed. And if you die, let's start again: Italy's capital, Japan's capital, Azerbaijan's capital, China's capital.. on and on.
There's no real challenge and it gets really annoying quickly due to this mechanism. The whole game can be beaten in ten minutes, and that's all. Or you can keep on going through the same cycle forever.
Definitely unrecommended - there are tons of trivia and quiz games for free way better than this if you want to learn or test your skills in geography and common knowledge.
Obviously, this game won't ever have trading cards even if the developers wrote it in the store page.
