Uncertain of capabilities and needing frequent reassurance. Or over-confident and sometimes overbearing. Spank is capable of planning and sequencing own work, but does not yet do so consistently. When work is planned, usually works systematically towards objectives. A self-starter – someone who always finds out the right thing to do and gets on with the job. If a manager has given no guidance Spank will still take appropriate action. If the required tools are unavailable, they is able to improvise. Performs to an adequate standard but is not yet achieving excellence in any area. Spank generally checks work to make sure it has been done properly.
