I was afraid to start the franchise, there's so much hype behind it that I thought I would not enjoy it, I'm glad I was wrong, Final Fantasy 7 is a joyride start to finish. All characters are so much interesting, the story is amazingly engaging and even though the graphics are way over dated, it has it's charm and was my favorite part of the game. The downside of this old game is the abundance of missable items, if you don't know when or where you can get certain item, you will miss it forever, I was going to platinum this game but half-way I learned I already missed one materia and I didn't wan't to lose my 30 hour save to start over, maybe one day. The one thing I'm certain is that this game is my most memorable game I've played all year, I had to study a lot to even finish it, learning about enemy drops, items location, materia combinations, and it was one of the most satisfying experiences of the year. The final boss was a delight to beat, after losing two times to him, I dedicated another 10h to grind for some items and levels and when I finally defeated it was totally worth it. Another point I have to make is that this soundtrack is 10/10, there's not one bad track, it's been on repeat ever since I finished playing it. And yeah, she's gone but not forgotten.
