MONTHS after the last update and the game is still unplayable with framerates fluctuating from 23 - 56fps at 1080p even with a GTX 1080 and an i5 6600k running at 4.6ghz

Pretty much every other cryengine game runs so much better than this, you have to wonder how a walking sim can screw it up so bad. AVOID.

This is not a game, its a map with no interaction, no narrative and no puzzles.

Its also poorly implemented, i do not recommend you buy this.

Wolf among us is a great story. Its not so much a game because outside of some irritatingly timed quicktime sequences, and some very simplistic point and click sections, what you have here is really just a superb interactive comic.

Where this shines is in the dialog, the branching of the discussions and the different moods people take based on your choices. True the story doesn't bend much to your choices, but the people and the mood does.

It has excellent crisp graphics that effortlessly convey its comic roots and well acted sequences with great voices.

Just as "walking simulators" like ethan carter or dear esther are not FPS, this isn't a point and click, its something slightly different and i loved it.

A mixed bag. What would have been state of the art in 2006 was dated and poorly designed on arrival in 2011 and is postivly archaic in today's market, but there is a charm to the mostly linear experience that is a hallmark of id software games.

The levels are interestingly laid out and look stunning from a distance, but the appalling "Megatexture" technology which just wasn't worth the time of day, and lazy placement of objects that feel very clearly placed to cheat you out of exploration do end up frustrating you a lot of the time.

The first half of the game feels like it's building up to something interesting, but what feels like a severely truncated second half feels uneven, bland and much weaker than the first half. Missed opportunities in the story, gameplay and design make this an overall failure, but one that for a few quid, is enjoyable enough to warrant playing through.

This game is great, I was looking for a fun Mario Kart clone and there was nothing, until i found this! It is colourful, stylishly presented with slick cartoon visuals and great audio and has a great attitude to the source material making the whole atmosphere fun and lively.

Multiplayer online is a little sparse, apparently it was priced a bit too high on release, but its work every penny in a steam sale and has teriffic 2 player split screen!

Gameplay is challenging but fun and the powerups are as frustrating to get caught with as they are when you use them to win races, there are 3 engine sizes allowing for greater speeds and the maps are teriffic caricatures of the host track/country.

I love this game and i defy you not to.

A great X-COM style Sci-Fi adventure, worth 3x as much!

I love Tower Defense games, i try as many as i can and the only one i always come back to, the only one that never gets uninstalled is Defense Grid.

Stacks of levels, a good range of weapons and enemies and plenty of challenges, this game literally never gets old!

Highly recommended! 10/10
