game of the year, no contest, maybe even my game of all time. i will not be normal about this, you need to play this game, it's that good.

EDIT: steam doesn't know how to track my playtime properly bcoz i mostly use my deck offline, sitting at about 10hrs now, not including the many hours i spent on the demo lmao

i double-dipped to have this on switch & pc, so my hours played should be like double. here are some disparate thoughts on why i dig it so much:

-the visual presentation is friggin cozy, like the world glows in the dark.
-the gameplay loop is so addicting, it feels really good to climb shard levels & unlock new stuff.
-the risk vs reward mechanics are this game's bread & butter; as you play more & get better, it becomes an absolute joy sacrificing all your health & heart containers for a nutty build; im all here for it.
