This game is painfully mediocre. The game is slow and boring af. Sonic's max speed makes Sonic Boom look good and it has way too much combat which just slows the game down. Speaking of slowing the game down, The first hour or so it filled to the BRIM with pointless tutorials that just stops the game dead in it's tracks. Did I mention I was playing on the "High Speed Mode"? So yeah, don't waste your hard earned money on this game. It's honestly really sad since Sega can't make a good Sonic game anymore. The last time they made a good Sonic game was 11 years ago. Also Denuvo and bad Pop in.

Now, I'm not disagreeing with you, as everyone has their preferences in games. But consider that 92% of people who reviewed this game disagree with you. If the game isn't for you that's fair. And I admit I was a bit biased in my previous comment, but as I said, just consider that 92% is not an insignificant percentage and it's gone up from the previous 90% it was before. So I apologize for my previous statement, but please don't say that this is just an outright bad sonic game, because statistically? Naw, dis good, just not for your (probably refined, nothing wrong with that tho) pallette in games.

Have you not heard of first impressions? If the first hour of a game isn't good what makes you think I'm going to stick with it? Especially since I can't refund it after 2 hours. Also this is a mainline Sonic game. I shouldn't have to treat it like a game from a genre that I really don't like that much. I also never said anything about liking the boost formula.

0.9 hours on record? Well there's your problem. Also, treat it like an action RPG open world with sonic slapped in that it is instead of "haha hold boost to win" and you may find yourself actually enjoy it a bit.
