Solid, though it artificially extends its length by not letting you use the overpowered nozzle you unlock from beating the main campaign. Most of the negative reviews for Back to the Future complain it doesn't last long enough, and I think it's because that DLC lets you have that nozzle.

This one, on the other hand, does NOT let you use the nozzle and intentionally gives its jobs harder layers of grime to clean off than the green nozzle can easily handle in one swipe. BttF is too easy to clean for people who can't stop themselves from using the best tool at all times, Spongebob is too slow to clean for people who wanna just blow through it with the best nozzle at all times.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

The asethetics are spot-on, though the twee FuturLab writing style doesn't necessarily fit Spongebob. Getting texts from him, Squidward, and Patrick feel more like when your parents signed you up to get a birthday phone call from the Toys R Us giraffe than, y'know, a plot. It's just text messages supposedly from Spongebob characters doing bits AT you.

Definitely worth the money if you're a fan of the first couple seasons of Spongebob, from which all the references and locations are pulled. A damn shame FuturLab didn't license any sound effects or music. It's a consistent problem with their PWS DLCs, as anything that would elevate the sound design of IP-based levels would also be prohibitively expensive for them to pay for.

In the end, it seems like a lot of the negative DLC reviews are from people who've never really paid for expansion packs before and somehow convinced themselves an $8 Powerwash DLC was going to add like ten hours of content to the game. They give BttF guff for having too little content, and they give Spongebob grief for taking too long. There really is no winning with these people.

It's very much worth the money if you enjoy the IP that's being licensed. If you don't enjoy Spongebob and just want more Powerwash Sim to play, read the store description before buying so you know exactly how much content is in this pack. It's entirely on you if you buy this and feel there's too little/too much to do in it.

The last one you unlock in the full game. The one that makes even the dirtiest levels a cakewalk.

Also, to all the people posting negative reviews complaining about achievements: Your beef is with Steam. Tell Steam you want achievement DLCs to be considered separate from the 100% stat for the main game. Don't negatively impact games you openly admit you like just to spite the developer.

Achievements being busted like this is in no way FuturLab's fault, and complaining to them will change nothing besides discouraging them from making more PowerWash Sim content.
