It's a good light simulation game. The scenarios make it well suited for casual solo play.

This is a clever little puzzle game. The missions never really get old, and there is always a variety of missions to choose from at any given time. It's easy to play a quick mission casually if you have 15 minutes of down time, or it's very easy to immerse yourself in liberating the galaxy for a whole day.

For what it is, it's a cute little game. It marries the classic columns-style dropping gems puzzle with a simple linear dungeon crawl. I got it at a summer sale for $0.59, and it's a good deal at that price. I'd recommend it as a good casual time waster when you need to wind down.

I found the graphics horrible and offputting.

It's a good, passable puzzle game. Definitely worth the $0.99 list price.

I don't see much redeeming value in this game.

I conditionally recommend this. I picked it up for under $1, and it was a somewhat enjoyable play for that amount.

I have been playing this game since it came out, and I love it every bit as much as when it came out. The backstory is wonderful, the art is spot on, and the gameplay sucks you in with madness and beauty.
The Zubmariner expansion is a great addition to the game, with al lot of new content. It's possible it makes the game a little cluttered, but it's worth it for the new destinations and access to supplies and fuel.

Early Access Review
It's a fun little hack and slash. The dialogues are cute and cheeky, and there are plenty of monsters to kill and pop culture references. I recommend for a good time.

I am glad I read the reviews for this game. All the ones I read praised the gameplay, but complained of technical bugs. I figured the bugs would be fixed by the time I bought it, and I was right; I have not run into any bugs yet. I have, however, enjoyed the gameplay. The only things I don't like are the square grid (I prefer hexes) and lack of use of the ocean; it would at least be nice for them to explain why there are no ships, but it just surrounds the continent, being totally ignored. It is a lovely strategy game, though; the depth of a Civilization or Alpha Centauri with quests and magic and a tactical combat option when fighting.
