Game crashes on Mac as soon as I connect to a match. That is, if it allows me to connect at all. Servers are buggy and show everyone connected as having little to no connection, so the lobbies are in perpetual pregame limbo. The trailer and concept looked promising, yet I was extremely disappointed. Uninstalled.

As the store page says, Mac version is unstable, the port is not completed, so your argument doesn't quite stand, I'm afraid :/
