Since I played beta (and then tried to play final release a couple of times) I had no idea one can do worse game than HoMM4.
Ubisoft should sell the sereis to someone more caring.
V was the revival of the series, and as such I was incredibly excited when it was released. Perhaps I give it higher marks because I expected no Heroes at all. However, it was a new studio and publisher, with a new design direction, and I expected the subsequent games to evolve from V onwards. I don't exactly feel that this has happened though. Right now, they're not getting better. This is sad, since there's no problem with the format, just the execution.
This is more important to me as those are vastly superior to any of the preceding versions.
If something is different to V or VI, I couldn't care less, to be completely honest.
