Pretty sure this is the first time I've written a Steam review. Absolute mess of a port, getting drops to 50 FPS on a 4090 and 14700K. Also crashes up the wazoo...and those microtransactions at release...greedy buggers.

Avoid until they fix this mess.


POST UPDATE...ehhh UPDATE:

Definite positive changes, although it's still far behind where it needs to be and should have been at release.

1. DLSS Quality setting providing better image quality overall, although still not seeing the boost you'd expect given the hardware being thrown at it. FrameGen mod still required if you want an average frame rate of above 60 FPS.

2. Great that we can now start a new game from the menu...boggles the mind that it still overwrites existing save game data. Multiple character saves still requires manual intervention for the time being.

Although I still wouldn't recommend the game in it's current state (which is a shame because it's an amazing game) as it's still crippled by various problems, it's heading the right direction and we've been promised performance updates at a later date...guess we'll have to wait and see.

Sank 704 hours into this thing so far and loved every minute of it. Looking forward to the enhanced edition dropping and might actually get round to completing the main story and all DLC :)

Have a bad habit of restarting and modding the hell out it :)
