This is a highly creative, colorful action platformer well worth the money asked. The sprite work, graphics and animation are beautiful - with very expressive, charming characters. Music and sound fits nicely and there's just about the right amount of collectibles so the search for them doesn't get tedious. Some suggestions after a first play session:
- It would be nice to be allowed to turn the character to the other side while smashing the attack button.
- would be nice to be able to attack while ducking.
- The upward range of the beard to grab a handle is a bit too short. Would be great to be more responsive nearby.
- The downward weight/stomp attack should be a lower priced unlockable. About 800. Its so relevant for various early secrets.
- The auto-scrolling level with the animal ride has an invisible wall on the right side of the screen with about 1/4 space left and that can end a dodge move in an unfavorable way.

Hardland has a fascinating und quite unique graphical style that makes the game world captivating and fun to explore. Can't wait to see more of it.

The groundwork here is remarkable! This is a very well made and fast paced platforming action game that doesn’t do the hand-holding you’re used to with some really clever ideas. It’s a bit too unforgiving in places where a single misstep throws you back quite far or bonus stages that are lost until repeating the whole level but it’s exciting and the colorful graphics look amazing. Performance is great too.
