Very fun, loads of secrets, good soundtrack. An absolute steal for £2 on sale

Pretty fun game, some guns feel weird to control but that may be because I'[m used to standard shooters like COD

Playing online is pretty unlikely, but the emulation is nice with loads of visual filters, leaderboards, audio settings, etc. The house feature is really un-needed and doesn't add to the experience in my opinion, a simple menu would've done just fine. The rewind function is great! If you simply want to play the game I'd say just use an emulator like picodrive (there are plenty of others too), but if you appreciate the Steam community functions - go for it.

I'm playing on a PS4 controller but the UI seems to display XB1 buttons, not too much of an issue but a bit annoying

Got it for £1 on sale as its tough to emulate for me. Game runs well on my poor hardware (as expected), plenty of options and stuff. Notably you can toggle the PAL/JP OST or the US one. Awesome feature. The game itself is fun - the levels in particular are more chaotic and less structered than traditional Sonic games (eg Sonic 2) which I prefer, some may not. I only really have 2 complaints, it takes aaages to scroll the leaderboards (which are FILLED with cheaters) and £4 is overkill.
Although, it is super awesome to have leaderboards, they're a feature I appreciate. Get the game on sale is my advice. If you want to play this game, this is imo the best possible way. Recommended.
