Game is solid enough, it's more Company of Heroes!

Game needs a good few updates to add progression, customisation and replayability however.

Also Devs; please god update the SFX on weaponary/explosions. It's abysmal.

It's just ok. Needs fixes and is lacking a bunch of features eg. Hardcore game modes and Barracks/Challenges that aren't tied to camo patterns for guns.

Hopefully I can update this once it's patched and Season 1 is out.

Edit: All of the above got added to the game and is more fleshed out now as a game, season updates have been lacking in content though.

Campaign is a good idea executed so bad it's unreal.

Then random defeat out of nowhere.

This game has snowballed in popularity over the last couple of weeks and upon launch, the entitled have come out in full force. Of course this game was going to have launch issues, no one expected this game to have such a boom in popularity.

This game was sat at Overwhelmingly Positive before launch and for good reason! The game is great! Play it, it's free!

I'd absolutely recommend this game to any fan of past Civilization games, or other 4X titles.
Runs smooth so far, looks great, sounds great (the OST is very nice), and the customisable civilisations is a very welcome feature.

The only thing it's missing is Sean Bean.

Pursue Lu Bu like a true Alpha Male.

This High Resolution Texture Pack, whilst free, is simply not worth wasting electrical power and bandwidth usage on.

Pros - It slightly sharpens textures.

Cons - ^ That's it.

For £4.68, whether you like the content within Afterbirth+ or not, you immortalise one of the best games of the decade.
