Totalling more than 1200 coupled hours between PC and PS3, this definitely is my favourite game.

While, in my opinion, the settings and the athmosphere are slightly inferior to its predecessor Demon's Souls, Dark Souls fills the gap with efficient mechanics, deep lore and a feeling of loneliness and despair that accompanies you throughout the entire story.

As for the PVP aspect of the game, the community is still very alive and populated by skilled players roaming Oolacile Township. GFWL is a big detriment, but with the Steam patch coming soon all will be forgotten.

Remember kids: if you're getting front-stabbed it's only your fault for not anticipating your opponent's network latency. Stop complaining and come get #rekt with us.
