Incredible potential, but right now it does not land.
With every update the game feels worse to play than it did on release day.

Thought provoking dystopia with weirdly good puzzle gameplay.

For every one thing this DLC does amazing, it does about three others terribly.

• A small number of the new weapons and spells are genuinely very fun to use, with great animations.
  
• All of the NPCs you interact with are interesting.
  
• The two best bosses in Elden Ring.
  
• A few gorgeous areas to explore.

• You WILL struggle with framerate issues.
  
• You WILL struggle with bad hitboxes.
  
• You WILL fight the same enemies from base Elden Ring for 50% of the DLC.
  
• You WILL get new items and gear that look cool, and 60% of them will just be worse versions of what you already have.
  
• You WILL be forced to run around collecting a ton of menial items.
  
• You WILL die in 1-2 hits due to buggy hit registration.
  
• You WILL get messed up by bad camera.
  
• You WILL face what is probably the worst FromSoftware boss encounter since Bed of Chaos, at the end of this DLC.
  
• You WILL eventually overcome the many bad design choices and triumph above it all, and you will then be flamed by the community for not doing it their way.

I do not believe that playing a game that is not fun, just for the few great moments scattered about is a worthwhile use of anyone's time, so I cannot in good faith recommend this, even less at the same price of most full indie/AA games.
