i'm so happy that it's finally on steam so that the memory void that everyone who doesn't play games on their phone has can finally be filled - no more clones, scuffed web ports or fan remakes, we finally have the official option.

been playing on and off for a decade and i've still only gotten to 6144. this is a masterpiece of arcade design: all of the small details in the implementation of the game show through at every stage of the game in a different and challenging way, and it never takes too long to get a good attempt going. there's so much i could say about it, but most of it sounds like a stretch unless you really get far in it yourself

thanks for the memories

the newer games are still laggy as all hell though. i'm not entirely sure what this "remaster" did, besides keep the games functioning. run elephant run in particular crashes when viewing the full intro cutscene, and doesn't even seem to go above 10fps (for me that added to it xP)
also, achievement unlocked 3 still has softlocks when returning to a finished save... at least you can actually get all of the achievements now

also also i MASSIVELY disapprove of the decision to replace the double window secret in achievement unlocked 2, oneshot did it and i had said then that this game specifically did it first and it was awesome for it. oh well, at least i still got the .swf

finally an open world game that doesn't take a year to finish lol

(lock this game to 60hz via graphics settings - there are some softlock bugs on higher refresh rates)

negative voting this because replacing a game i paid for with another game is bad on principle

Apparently I never wrote a review for this game until now. It's pretty fun!

also the soundtrack for the "story" section isn't just good for a video game ost, it's arguably one of the best albums out there

I found it difficult to create a precise strategy or methodology for clearing any puzzle past the first few sets despite no information being hidden (and the puzzle sizes not being too excessive), which points to the concept the game is based on being more interesting than it first appears. Infinite mode is great :)
