This game crashes more often than Skyrim with 1,000 mods. The devs don't seem to have any interest in balancing the many broken mechanics (both good and bad for the player). Every now and then, they patch in some obnoxious event that makes it even worse for a few weeks, and ignore the community begging for them to end it (look at the forums and comments on the recent Summer 2021 event).

I would love to give an accurate review of the new arena multiplayer mode, but since the servers are down seemingly 90% of the time, I'm not even sure it deserves its "Beta" status.

What sucks the most is that when this game is fun, it's really fun. I've put a lot of good hours into it, but in it's current state, there's no way that I could ever recommend this to anybody. Even if you like minesweeper, even if you like roguelikes, avoid buying this game unless something changes.

Update Edit (October 21):
Another event patch, and so much of it is bugged. Crashes happen almost every run. There's still no way to disable event content. My disdain for this dev grows.

Update Edit (April 22):
Nothing has changed. Too much content, with no real effort to balance any of it. Every update that dilutes the already mediocre overall experience.
