Finally beat it. Originally I picked it up on WildTangent, used tokens for game time, got addicted, and got the physical disc delivered to my house so I could pop it into my old DELL laptop. Now I saw it on Steam with a good price so I figured I'd try it again. You know, for nostalgia. Man, there's more than nostalgia. This is one of the best dungeon crawlers ever. You can make your character what you want. Free form build with the skills and stats. Crit archer? Sure! Charm mage? Yup! Dual wield spears??? Of course!!! This game is an amazing game about protecting the town of Grove and every damn minute of it is enjoyable. Oh, there's also fishing which takes it from a 9/10 to a 10/10. Get this, you won't regret it. You can retire your character at the end and have a descendant and continue... OR you can no retire, purchase the next title, and transfer yourself to the next iteration with the same EVERYTHING. Truly a remarkable game ESPECIALLY for the time it was released.
