Everything about this game is pure style: the pixel art reminds me of Crawl from the first second of the opening animation. The Aussie voice actors are fantastic, and the story is very unique. But what I want to highlight the most is the innovative controller interface! The right-stick ring of actions is exactly what the adventure game genre needs. Your Items and locations are easy to find and there's no risk of missing something or having to pixel hunt. The simple little "x" icon helps a lot when figuring out which items can be used where. I hope this style of control is picked up by anyone building a point and click adventure game.

This is one of the only rhythm games where I've actually felt connected to the music. Many times a complex passage will turn out to make perfect sense when you relax and listen to what the music is doing. This is true even on the impossible charts, which according to the devs have even more effort put toward being faithful to the song. I really appreciate the attention to detail when it comes to fun patterns, off-beats, and satisfying audio and visual effects.
