If one clicked on the link they were led on a Steam fake page where receive as presents for a limited period of Steam Gift Card.
This I could do or achieve if you enter your credentials in the Steam login and if you sent that link to several friends.
Now i have reporting to Steam but I think it was wrong session.
I saw that you are an employee of Valve and then you can act accordingly.
