What an unbelievable trip down the killer mind of Suda51. The introduction to his "Kill the Past" series of games starts you off thinking you're tracking down a run-of-the-mill criminal, but as the story progress, it really ramps up the insanity, mystery, and horror. Each mission was an absolute roller coaster, and I'm left me craving more. Killer sound design, killer soundtrack, and a killer story wraps it all up into an experience you'll never forget.

The QOL changes like increased text speed were very welcomed and the game ran great. I ran into one bug through out the entire story during mission #2 where my character was stuck in one spot, but no real issues besides that.

Having never played killer7 before on the Gamecube, my brother egged me on to play this game. "If you loved No More Heroes, you're going to absolutely love this game."

Unlike anything you will ever play before, I can 100% assure you that. It's probably the most unique video game that has come out in the last twenty years, and probably will be the most unique for another 20. The story, writing and character direction is nothing short of being called a masterpiece. An assassin's tale, shrouded in mystery, politics, horror, violence and absolute mind-bending twists. Suda51 is a master of his craft. killer7 was his first exposure to the West, and I dare say this is still his best work.

Port wise, it's a nearly flawless port. Everything looks super clear, game play flows nice, and the load times from the original GCB version has been easily halved. Plus a couple of added QOL changes. The added fan-made subtitles is so great, as sometimes the voice acting gets lost in the SFX. My only real gripe is that the 2D animated cutscenes are pretty low quality. I have come across fans on Youtube rendering the cutscenes to higher quality, and I think they should consider doing the same for the Steam version in the game.

You will not be disappointed, and you will be left thinking about this game non-stop for days, weeks, months, hell, maybe even years.
