A pixelated subversion of expectations

Several years after release the developers are still producing new and interesting content for this free-to-play game while also being attentive to the wants of the community.

Absolutely worth a try.

This game, though I falter to call it such a thing, has had me thouroughly on edge for the past hour. Mind you, not for the best of reasons.

It has an immense atmosphere, beautiful narrative, and lots of interactive environment. It does however feel out out of place and mixed. The air of the game gives a constant sense that you are playing a horror/suspense title, but in truth it's no such thing. Instead you traverse the environment trying to piece together the various clues scattered about into a cohesive storyline...

A story that I can honestly say was quite good...
Not $20 good...
But good nonetheless.

Know what you're getting into before you purchase this game and you will save yourself from any anger and frustrations after the fact.

Pros:
Well designed environment
Superb voice acting
Great storyline
Passive world development (Seemingly small and easilly unnoticed tidbits of information scattered about do well to expand the story and world around the Player)

Cons:
Very Short (Average of 90 minutes)
Atmosphere does not lend positively to the style of game


Conclusion:
Overall I'd reccommend this game. As long as you can get it at a discounted price. It does well to push the "Games as Art" ideal. Sit back, enjoy the story, and dont let the atmosphere of it scare you away from enjoying it.
