Dive deep into the world of Riven if you want to experience a challenging adventure game with an engaging story and phenomenal graphics and OST. In my opinion, it's way better than Myst, it's both darker/more ominous and more beautiful. I've been playing this game since it came out back in the 90s and I keep coming back to it, even just to spend some time wandering around the various islands.

One of the best games I've ever played.
Skyrim = complete immersion in a beautiful fantasy world of large proportions
Downloading various mods according to your taste, can make this game even more beautiful and add a 'wow' factor to the landscape etc.
