This is the first fighting game that was noob-friendly enough to allow me to stay interested enough to begin learning actual mechanics.

The characters are interesting, the art style is great, the animations are wonderful, and things like the auto-combos really make this an easy pick-up for a casual player. As I played more, I realized areas of the game I could improve in, but the game has always been accessible so that I never feel helpless as I develop as a player.
