Honestly one of my favourite games at the moment. It's simple to learn, but hard to master. There are tons of strategies to try out, multiple historical decisions, and the AI is really decent and will kick your butt in the beginning (although after some playthroughs you see its weaknesses). You'll be making the same mistakes as the generals in WW1 made. What I love most is that you really have to be "strategic": you have to plan ahead and formulate a plan to win the war, not just a single battle/front. Production, replenishment, research and diplomacy are all equally important and you really have to juggle between these with your limited funds. The war also really gives that WW1-feeling, with the early gains grinding to a halt due to trenches, artillery becoming very important and finally air power and tanks making it a bit more mobile again.

It's also very addictive and really gives that one-more-turn vibe.
