There's a lot of mixed opinions on this game, and some of it for good reason, but I will stand by that they just nailed the fighting mechanics so well. This game will forever scratch an itch for all out horde combat and chaos with guns AND melee. At the end of the day I just have a lot of fun playing it so I'll recommend it as just that!

Just a dope idea for a game in general and after hundreds of hours of playing, the updates have kept content fresh and I haven't ♥♥♥♥♥♥ tired of this game at all. The common complaint I hear is that it's unfair, whether it be for survivors or killers; what I would say to that is it's an asymmetrical horror game.. you're meant to kill and be killed. Every game is different and you can take unique approaches, that's where the fun is. It's as balanced as it can be for an inherently unbalanced genre.

New players will have tons of fun discovering killers and feeling that real fear of the unknown in the beginning. Longer term, competitive players will have fun with unlocking and trying builds and practicing efficient ways to escape or kill off survivors with time as the enemy.

All in all, this game rocks. Definitely worth the money to play, and I'd bet most people would like it enough to justify the DLC as well.
