If you need your fix of hardcore, desk-slamming, skill-based combat mixed with a flurry of beautifully crafted and deep customisation options, then search no further than For Honor. The game is captivating and the mechanics are as brutal as they are intuitive. The game plays similar to a 3D brawler, with the added 'guard mechanic', a tough to learn gameplay style, but there is no better feeling once you master a character.

Bare in mind you you're new, you will get your ass beat. You will swear the game is unfair, but this game is about knowing your opponent and learning how to fight them, you will not win based on sheer luck, so if you are picking this up for the first time be well aware that you will start out getting crushed. However, as you learn, you will start to understand and use the mechanics to your will and you'll feel your presence on the battlefield. Stick at it, Warrior.

If you do overcome the challenge, be sure to check out the For Honor weekly live stream. I am overwhelmingly impressed with its support and strong community. The developers at Ubisoft Montreal are still tirelessly updating and refining areas, adding new content and creating bonds with their players unlike any other game I have seen.

The game and its art has been an inspiration to me and even my career choice, now going on to further my studies in 3D Character Development, and overall I would overwhelmingly recommend this game, just dont expect to get stuck in without a few swords getting stuck in you.
