so! recently my teen brother's been using my socks (black with slight ruffles on them) for school because we have a sock shortage...

anyway, I've pulled three of the socks he'd used out of my hamper and they're strangely dried and stiff?

Sometimes with this dusty-like air to them. They're still bendy though, but they sometimes have these faded messy white streaks/lines.

I don't want to assume the worst, but I'm also stressed because this stinky 13y old brother of mine does NOT have good hygiene and I'm a stickler for clean stuff ☹︎

So I'm asking here- any guys or anyone who knows what's going on? Because I like my socks not stiff lol
