Heavily Pay to Win..

One or two meta's.. all others are basically worthless at end game.

Grindy.. so grindy.. same rotation every day doing the same six things.

This one feels like it's been abandoned.. years of waiting and no results?

It's not abandoned.. but man is it boring. Slow, methodical and you die every time a bird farts in your direction - it's just not that fun to play.

This is hot garbage.. UX is awful.. gameplay is awful.. not even worth the $15 spent on it.

I don't think it does a single thing in an intuitive manner..

This is a great example of the future of war.. Drones are definitely part of that future.

As an added bonus you get to kill the evil Russians and take back the laundry machines that they love to steal from their own people. Great Game 10/10 - would drop presents on the Ruskies again.

It is missing some goats and their Chech lovers.. so I guess that would be the next expansion?

The game is amazing.. when it works.. (Now it works.. and it's really good!)

One of the best coop shooters I've played - adrenaline pumping the whole time.

I get three.. maybe four hours a day to play and it crashes all the time.

Please.. fix the damn crashes so my time is actually counted... it sucks to crash after playing 30 mins and get nothing from it. My time is valuable.. so actually fix the damn bugs!

Everything about the game is great when it isn't crashing or losing a network connection or some other issue.. the bugs are killing me here.

Its a hide and seek gameplay... Its kinda slow, but some people will like that.

Do you play a sniper in most games?
Did you enjoy The Ship?
Did you spend hours playing Gary's Mod?

This might be your game.. None of those are my things.

If you want fast, run and gun gameplay with constant twitch action - this is not it..

The maps are gorgeous - very well done.
The characters are quirky and interesting, but it does get a bit old hearing the cheesy lines.
Its very cartoony, but again.. that's an artistic choice.

I didn't get the excitement or adrenaline rush that I like when playing a game.. there was no anticipation / fear / etc.. It just didn't have that to hook me. It was more of a yamn than excitement for me.

This was in solo play, so maybe the team play is better, but no one I know plays this one to get that experience.

It does take a bit to figure out the game play and you'll want to learn the maps to be good at doing anything more than camping the vault. Don't run.. that's an easy way to get shot in the back or at least run strategically. Maybe on higher level game play it would become more strategic, but most people ran around, got shot.. and that was it.


Overall, its just too slow for me to get hooked. Given the choice of playing this or the action combat in HellDivers 2 - I chose HellDivers...

I was shocked by this one..

Yes, it was likely created by AI.. yes.. it blends the better elements of many genres into one oddly satisfying world.

Its Pokemon, Ark, Dungeon Runner, Base Builder.. all in one.. with some minor RPG elements. Its addictive, a bit cartoony.. but really satisfying to play.

The AI sucks.. its kinda dumb, but that's ok.. its not CIV 6 / CK2.. its mean to be fast and fun with some base building, collecting, and rpg elements and it does it really well.

Simply one of the best games around.. lots of depth and replay-ability.

99% - Amazing.. I can't say enough for how well thought out this game is..

1% - Bugs.. its a complex game with alot of item iteraction. You're likely to find some odd bugs / visual glitches / exploits.. its hard to manage all that complexity with everything being interactive.

Overall.. Its going to be legendary. One of the few games that I would say is worth full price.

This is a fun strategy game with a bit of an RTS element.

The trench warfare is unique and requires knowledge of how a push was done in WWI - so that was unique.

The negatives were that it took only 14 turns to win - so it was a little simple even on veteran status.

**UPDATED**

- Troops 'swarm' behavior is awful.. the collision seems to be on individual troops and given the 'swarm' behavior to make everyone jump inside a trench is just dumb (they run around in circles before diving in.. it breaks all realism) - it really hurts the immersion for a strategy / big battle war game.

If you are getting shot at, you're going to dive into that trench as fast as possible.. not bunch up and wander around near the top while getting shot.
